Become a Member of the Gray Volunteer Fire Department

Dear Volunteer Applicant, 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Gray Volunteer Fire Department. Our department has a review and selection process for membership. 

The volunteer service has levels of expectations of each member to be professional, courteous, and have a calling to serve the community. Every member must be able to commit to training and operational duties as agreed upon.

Being a volunteer firefighter is rewarding and a selfless act for the safety of others and we look forward to your application. You can access an online application by clicking the link below, or you can come by the station to obtain a paper copy.

Please note that it will take about 30-45 minutes to complete the application, and it must be completed in one sitting, as multiple submissions will delay the application process.  You will also have to upload a copy of your driver's license, provide education history and references, so please have all details ready before beginning.
